Hi! I'm Lucy, an artist and writer based in the LA area. I'm a 4th year student at Cal State University Fullerton working towards my BFA in Entertainment Art/Animation with a minor in Cinema and Television Arts.

I’m looking for an opportunity to help a forward-thinking team push the boundaries of animated storytelling. My interests include (but are not limited to) storyboarding, concept art, character/story development and script-writing.

I always strive to create stories that reflect the world I observe and experience every day, as well as what I’d like to see. Studying existing tropes/arcs and identifying their effectiveness or shortcomings has led me to a passionate interest in approaching familiar character types from a different angle. l love to combine realism with optimism and balance depth with entertainment. I want to work with a team as passionate as I am about creating nuanced characters and thoughtfully crafted worlds to both inspire and immerse an audience!

As a kid, I was completely captivated by Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Phineas and Ferb. Animation was very formative in the way I saw the world growing up, and it continues to affect me profoundly.

I have never been more excited about the future of animation as it grows and changes with stories like The Owl House, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, and Arcane: League of Legends, all of which are pushing boundaries in their fields. I’m excited beyond description to be entering such a dynamic field and begin contributing to its future.
